Day 3
Prompt: transformation
Characters: Bonnie Bennett, Caroline Forbes 

When Bonnie was a child, she loved the standard things: My Little Pony, having tea with her stuffed bears and the color pink.  After Abby left, she found herself putting those things away in an effort to grow up (because someone told her that is what little girls without mothers have to do).

As a teenager, it was music, friends and boys that took up most of her time.  Or they should have.  She spent the first years of her teens blissfully unaware of the storm that was brewing over her head.  She crushed on Tyler Lockwood before realizing he was an arrogant jerk.  She danced with Elena and Caroline, throwing her head back often to laugh.  

Then it all went to hell.
