Day 5

Characters: Bonnie Bennett, Stefan Salvatore 

The only good thing about a ripper is that they make a mess for all to see.

It makes tracking them easy.

Bonnie is tired by the time she pulls off the road.  The motel looks like a leftover from some B horror film but she does not care.  She just needs a place to lay her head (and in truth, she has slept in far worse).  However, she does take offense to way the desk clerk leers at her.  He is rewarded when his mug of hot coffee somehow tips on his lap as she leaves the office with her key clutched tightly between her fingers.

As she pulls her bag free from the trunk of her car, she takes a moment to really look at this town (if you can even call it that).  It is just as run down as the motel behind her — but she knows this is it.  

This is where their paths cross.
