Day 6
Prompt: pact
Characters: Bonnie Bennett, Elijah Mikaelson

There is not much time to decide.

(in fact there is no time at all)

Bonnie’s thoughts are a jumbled mess and she can’t seem to pull them together properly enough to think clearly.  Maybe that is what he is counting on.  After all, he had introduced the idea (the one thing that could save so many people) at the last moment.  

Elijah’s face is a mask.  She cannot read his thoughts, cannot know what is going on inside of his head.  Is he thinking only of good they can do — or is he counting on her need to be selfless in order to gain something for himself?

Bonnie finds she cannot take the chance.  She lurches forward.
