Dangerous topic. My all-time favorite Skyeward fic is an unfinished slow burn that is just SO IN CHARACTER and SO TENSE AND GOOD that I periodically re-read it and still feel satisfied with what’s there. It’s called To Break Nature’s Rule.
There are also various smutty one-shots that are really good, which I won’t recommend unless you want E-rated fics.
The other author whose Skyeward work is unparalleled is Overdressedtokill. Their stuff is mostly Skyeward AUs, but in really interesting ways. There is one of their fics that came out after Grant died called Goodnight, Travel Well, which was so good I used it as inspiration for my own Skyeward fic, Resurgam. Theirs is better, though!
