#OneYearOfBonkai ↳ January 25th: Fandom Appreciation In honor of all of the lovely writers who help our fandom thrive, a master post of the best Bonkai fanfiction out there. (There are obviously many more wonderful stories and writers, but these are the first that come to mind when asked for recs.) To you, Bonkamily.
Day 12 Prompt: hospital Characters: Bonnie Bennett, Elijah Mikaelson
When she wakes, it is into something cold and sterile.
It takes her a moment to understand. Everything is bathed in a white that is far too bright for her likening. The air is tinged in an acrid smell that curls her nose up automatically. She shifts a little in an attempt to escape it and is met with pain.
It shoots up her leg and pools in her lower abdomen. She can’t help but gasp, a hand moving to press against the worst of it. She feels a yank on her arm and looks down. Blood — a small amount collecting where she has pulled her IV free.
Today is my first day back since being suspended and they want to talk to me. It’s not looking good so far since my paycheck hasn’t come in through my direct deposit. I fear they’re going to fire me and give me my last paycheck in one fall swoop, but I still have hope, and even if I didn’t I started applying to other places. I’m just praying Hotep Harry doesn’t win because after all he’s put me through for months, wouldn’t that be the cosmic joke.
Update
I was just fired, but I am getting an interview set up with another company, a 911 company which is less pay but more meaningful work and closer to home hopefully that pans out and it was God’s way of getting me away from hotep Harry for better opportunities.
