Oh, please. Bonnie’s not perfect. Remember when she told Caroline she never listens and blatantly left her out of the circle? Or when she didn’t want to make Caroline’s ring? Caroline has been a better friend to Bonnie than Bonnie has been to Caroline. Caroline even let her stay at her house when the Salvatores turned Abby.

Folks wanna act like Bonnie lied on Caroline’s character or something…Caroline was calling Bonnie names n’shit…it wasn’t surprising that she got left out of discussions with an attitude like that…and yeah, she mighta been a little rough on Caroline when it came to that ring, but shit, she still made the damn thing, right? All she did was let her know that “Hey, I’m doing this for you but you can’t be running around draining folks n’shit…” And a lot of that probably came more from her be worried that she would have innocent blood on her hands after making it easier for her to be in public, tempted. So it’s a little petty for anyone to be holding on to that one moment…Let’s not forget that Caroline later said that she actually enjoyed the kill, so…I’m definitely not gonna be hard on Bonnie for letting her know that she would shut shit down if Caroline got out of hand…Hell, I wish that Bonnie was MORE like that these days…time was, Bonnie was one of the only people to be concerned about folks outside the circle, but that’s a whole other issue…
If we ran down a list, comparing all the great things each character has done…Bonnie would trump everyone. No one’s saying she’s perfect, but she surely better than everyone else in the group…

And I mean, tbh, we don’t see much of Bonnie in general, so there’s only so much Caroline can care for a character who’s never onscreen to care about. Caroline does have her moments when her head’s in the clouds and she’s focused on herself and her issues, but by no means would I even degrade her to how selfish Elena is. Absolutely not. Caroline has a lot of her own shit to deal with, yes, but I believe that at the end of the day, she functions the way a friend should.
Unfortunately, the less Julie puts Bonnie on our screen, the less you’re gonna see their interactions. After all, Caroline was the one who was there for Bonnie when Jeremy cheated on her. Caroline was there for her when her mother got turned. Caroline was there for her helping her train Abby/stood up to Abby and told her to be an adult/mother. Caroline was there to meet Jaime. Caroline was there, still trying to be Bonnie’s friend after she turned and there was awkwardness; still ready and willing to go with her to find Stefan when he was stuck in the well. Caroline was there when Bonnie did the spell to reveal gray matter and she saw Grams again, etc. So, imo, Caroline has been there for a lot of the major parts in Bonnie’s arc, whereas Elena is always nowhere to be found. Ever. There’s a huge difference when it comes to Baroline/Belena, to me.

Yeah, from what I can tell she’s talked to no one since the show ended. Bar from that one event where they all were just there it doesn’t seem like she hangs out with any of them. She was supposed to do that con, but she cancelled that. She seems to be distancing herself from that world as much as possible.
I honestly don’t know, from the looks of it, it seemed like they specifically excluded her because it wasn’t just Thanksgiving which can easily be explained by her having other plans, it was other activities she was just never apart of but everyone else was.
I really don’t know, I just know it’s weird, it’s like the show mentality leaked into real life.
