Yeah I have no comment on that since I don’t really follow either of them. It does seem suspect but so does a lot of the BTS of TVD especially cast relationships.

- She’s really close with Ian.
- She’s really close with Michael as they were on the same set in the very first thing he was in.
- Paul lights up any time she’s around or brought up
- I don’t know how close she is with Steven but if you look at some of their old interviews together he is thirsty af, and she was unfortunately dismissive which made for a really awkward video
- Kat seemed to be the only cast member Chris really liked working with
- Koseph aside JoMo was really eager to work with her going as far as ahip Klaroline only if Kat was playing Caroline
Like I rarely see any kind of love for Kat from the girls while if asked about them Kat will sing all kinds of praises.
Ah okay, I haven’t listened to the podcast but I remember seeing those pictures. It’s funny bc Nina and Candice seemed really close considering there’s so many throwback pictures of them. Yet they’re the only ones who don’t follow each other on social media but still some fans seem to think Kat’s the problem 🙄

I honestly think it’s a jealousy thing and they see her as a “threat” the same way Plec saw Bonnie as a threat to Elena and Caroline. Like they felt she was somehow taking something away which lines up when think about the fact that both girls were dating someone from the cast at the time.
The moment that really stood out to me about Kat’s treatment off screen was when Plec posted a picture with only the white actresses from tvd and captioned it something stupid like girl power. Idk it just didn’t sit right with me especially knowing kat was there yet JP couldn’t be bothered to get her and include her. That basically sums up Bonnie/Kat on the show
Basically sums up white feminism which we all know Plec subscribes to.
