Who they take after more: Bonnie. He is not sure he trusts his father, given that for a time Atticus Shane was Silas’ puppet. He worries that his father may one day hurt his mother and he is always on alert.
Personal Head canon: For the first twelve years of his life, Logan was raised by a single mother. He has always appreciated each and every sacrifice Bonnie has made for him and he hopes one day he can make her proud (he already does; she tells him that often but still he strives to prove himself). His father finally returned when he was a teenager and seemed desperate to establish some kind of relationship. He does not know the boundaries that Bonnie has set up in order for this to happen. He is not even sure he wants to get to know him but with time, he finds himself growing curious. Despite Atticus’ sordid past, he want to get to know the man.
Ok I love this one so much I might actually do it! I love the Fuck or Die trope and this is the perfect set up. These two would be perfect. So I would definitely develop a scenario in which Bonnie finds a weird artifact in her Grams belongings from her Occult Studies research and calls Alaric to figure out what the hell it is. Turns out it’s used in this weird bonding sexual ritual and has a curse that causes intense sexual desire which must be consummated or it’ll only increase and bring the individuals to a feverish state that’ll end in insanity and certain death. 😈😂
I’m at work cracking up at this ask. Yes, weird combination but I aint mad at it. First thoughts here would be Klaus and Bonnie in a secret relationship that is strictly sexual no stings attached. But of course they are both wanting more and mutually pining and neither of them act on it until someone shows interest in Bonnie offering something real and Klaus gets jealous and possessive and very Klaus like and they both start to see what’s been there all along. 😍 Bonus points if this is written as a romcom!😘

This is funny because fairly recently I had a conversation with @scorpio-karma about this pairing within the historical context of this show if Emily’s story was told as it should be and her status as a slave was acknowledged. The source material supports this story arc under the right pen. Damon deserting the Confederacy due to “opposing views”, his father constantly being disappointed in him, Emily entrusting him to protect the Bennett line (which secret baby would make it his line as well), and then trying to save Emily. All this points to secret forbidden love story! 💕So literally writing a canon AU would work here.
This was such a missed opportunity to add depth to Damon’s character. Plus make sense because so much of what he does in season 1 is pointless even by his standards. Like imagine him being pissed at Katherine for ruining his life instead of rejecting him. And we all know Katherine would be petty enough to not be able to deal with his attentions on Emily instead of her. I have so many notes for this, if I had time I’d write it.
