I love how just a summer ago, Damon killed an innocent girl, raped Andy, forced vampire blood down Elena’s throat, not to mention countless other atrocities in previous seasons including but not limited to: Manipulating, controlling, and sexually abusing Caroline, killing and turning Vicki, and snapping Jeremy’s neck in front of his sister. Stefan has gone on a self-proclaimed “ripper streak” where he has killed dozens (hundreds?) of innocent people, and along with Damon killed Bonnie’s mom and turned her against her will, also he killed Andy and traumatized Elena for half a season. Caroline has killed 2 innocent men. Elena took her brother’s agency away, and nearly got herself and other people killed when she spilled the beans to Elijah (luckily for her the only person who got hurt was Bonnie and Bonnie’s family /sarcasm). Klaus killed Jenna, turned Tyler into a hybrid, killed innocent people.. etc etc…
All of this (mostly in the last season) can be easily overlooked, forgotten or excused and yet I’m still seeing my girl Bonnie get hate for shit that she did in season 1? lol Bye

Caroline has been a better friend to Bonnie than Bonnie has been to Caroline. Caroline even let her stay at her house when the Salvatores turned Abby.

So black girls can’t be soft and ladylike, Bonnie can’t be with Damon because she’s black, and let’s add in that people openly admit that they can’t feel any empathy for Bonnie like they do with her white counterparts including most of the villains; look at all of this, keep in mind that it’s all being said publicly in 2012 by people in their teens and twenties who swear they’re not racist and don’t see color “because we all bleed red!!1!”…and this fandom has the nerve to complain when I point out that their treatment of Bonnie comes across as racist, with gems like this, how can I think otherwise.

I imagine now that Bonnie is out of the picture Kai would get the Kol treatment. Be paired with some white girl and then all of a sudden become redeemable. That’s not desirable either, but I’m guessing most of the people tweeting at Plague weren’t big fans of Bonnie or Bonkai so that doesn’t matter to them.
