TONNIE + PARENTS TO BE

honestgrins:

  1. Bonnie’s been trying to come up with a cute way to tell Tyler she’s pregnant, but she ends up spilling the beans when he’s muttering profanities at the video game he’s playing (losing). “You know you’re going to have to clean up the language when the kid comes, right?” To be fair, she’s been coaching herself through all the changes that will affect her life for the last week, like giving up tequila karaoke nights with Caroline for the foreseeable future. The confused look on his face is so worth the slip when it melts into the biggest, proudest smile she thinks she’s ever seen on him.
  2. His parents might not like that he’s in an MFA program, but they’re still less than thrilled when he announces his plan to take a year off to stay home with the baby. Tyler can still work on his graphic novel in his oh-so-brief free time while Bonnie continues to kick ass at her awesome biotech job. Grandma and Grandpa Lockwood were going to have to learn to deal.
  3. Auntie Caroline takes her new role very seriously, and she starts organizing the baby shower as Bonnie is still telling her about the doctor’s appointment confirming the pregnancy. Tyler is suddenly bombarded with lists of gifts and tasks he should be working on to pamper his wife, and he knows full well that Caroline isn’t kidding around, so he dutifully looks up an article on foot massage.
  4. Bonnie does not like the emotional mood swings, and she’s all but given up wearing mascara while watching television. When Tyler takes her out for a movie date, though, she gives in to the urge to dress up and go all out. Her favorite dress just barely fit over the growing bump, but his face lights up every time he looks at her throughout the night. Of course, she bawls barely ten minutes into the movie, and he helps her stand up for every pee break she needs to take. He gently brushes his thumbs under her eyes in the darkness before she leaves the theater, saving her from smudges.
  5. As the due date approaches, Tyler gets more and more nervous with Bonnie’s mounting discomfort. He flies Grams into town a week earlier than planned, just having her close helping to put them both at ease. They’re cuddled on the couch while Grams makes a spicy chili, the rich smells alone somehow enough to have Bonnie clutching at her belly in surprise. Tyler kisses her when she giggles despite the shock, and the parents to be rush to the hospital to finally become parents.

Send me a ship and trope, I’ll crank out headcanons!

Lool that’s what I mean, if you make an account to interact with fans you don’t give it an arrogant name, the whole point of the account is to seem down to Earth, normal. Yeah the movie did awful tbh, it was supposed to be 6 million or something but it made 3 and then they removed it from loads of theatres in the country so the next weekend it made under a million. The thing is I only pay attention to how well her movies do after what she said when she left tvd.

You see I always thought her leaving TVD was less about wanting to focus on her movie career and more about not wanting to play Elena. Because let’s be honest, if she would have stayed she could have had the same exact career as she does now, but being Elena Gilbert forever–that obviously wasn’t doing her many favors however I think now she’s realized just how much it helped.

She was always a mediocre actress, just watch her in Perks of Being a Wallflower. She was there for all of 2 minutes but you could see just how bad her acting was because she was put against actors of quality in something that was of actually quality. I think that was the best indicator for how her career was going to go.

The only time she shines is when she’s playing Katherine and even that isn’t that great because all she does is play the cliche mean girl. In my rewatches I’m realizing how little nuance there is between how she plays Katherine from Elena. She gets praise for her performance simply because the characters are different, no real shifts are made and you can tell especially when she plays her other doppelgangers because they are all essentially Elena.

Nina’s not doing that well because she wasn’t really ever doing that well–she just got lucky that Plec saw her as the perfect self-insert.

The thing is the username for the account is ‘dobrevmyidol’ which is super conceited in itself BUT I’ve been seeing that account around for a while bc it pops up on my explore page so either she made a fan account pretending to be a fan of herself or she asked the owner of the account if she could have it. But yes she definitely needs the promo, her last film tanked so hard they removed it from theatres it’s second week.

Dear Lord, first rule of creating a fan page, let your fans name it–that way you don’t sound like a maniacal asshole. Added with the fact that she may have been trolling her own page with a fake fan account, PR is definitely not her forte.

Wow, I had no idea how badly she flopped. I mean based on the movie name alone I knew it wasn’t going to be good, but damn that’s bad. No wonder she’s creating a fan page, apparently occasionally checking in with your fans to for box office tickets isn’t as effective as it once was–she’s not relevant anymore.

WHAT ABOUT BONNIE

WHAT ABOUT BONNIE

You had time to put everyone in with their miserable little dilemmas, a tasteless hookup, some abandoned warehouse drama because why the fuck not but Bonnie gets less than 5 mins?

It funny because you were just talking about how shady Nina is on here and how she doesn’t really do much with her fans and I saw that she’s made another Instagram account specifically to interact with fans lol. Idk it just made me giggle a little bc girl you’re a little late, aren’t you?

As I recall, she has a new show that needs constant promoting and ratings so I’m not that surprised. When it flops I’m sure she’ll go ghost until the next thing needs promoting. Her fans are honestly just there to increase ticket sale and boost ratings–that seems to be the only way she values them.
