Headcanons for Bonnie and Kai’s twin children?

  • Though she expected it Bonnie is kinda pissed she’s pregnant with twins and makes this dissatisfaction know to Kai throughout her whole pregnancy. It’s not that she didn’t want kids, or two for that matter, it was two AT ONCE that she found especially overwhelming
  • Bonnie gets impossibly big as the twins grow inside her. She was already really small to begin with put two kids inside her and it’s almost comical, or very comical because Kai won’t stop laughing about it. It’s a nightmare when she needs help up, which is always because she’s growing two kids. But she gets him back.
  • The twins powers start manifesting on utero which indicates that at least one of them isn’t a siphon.
  • They’re identical twins, two girls, Luna and Cyrus. Bonnie can tell them apart because she’s their mother, Kai can tell them apart based on their magic
  • They’re Bennett because the Bennetts were a matriarch
  • Though their identical their mismatched in their magic, Luna is a siphon, and Cyrus is a normal witch.
  • They’re both extremely powerful in their abilities. Luna can siphon an original to desiccation and Cyrus can do the same no sacrifice needed.
  • They’re the twins that end the merging ritual much to the annoyance of the rest if the coven. They try to undermine Kai by using Jo’s twins but are quickly thwarted by both Bonnie and Kai.
  • They eventually lead the Gemini coven together and implement a new order with one siphon and one regular witch to keep the balance as nature had intended when it created siphoners in the Gemini coven.
  • Bonnie passes down the grimoire from each of the ancestors in the Bennett line.
  • Each year they honor the Bennett ancestors for all that they sacrificed.
  • Being ancestors of both Silas and Qetsiyah, and on top of that the magic from each member of the Gemini coven they are virtually unstoppable and due to Bonnie’s parenting they were great leaders.

Day 1: Oneirataxia – inability to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Title

Beautiful is She Who Wanders in My Dreams

Summary: Badly wounded, Klaus wondered if the woman he saw in the forest was actually a figment of his imagination. (AU/Canon Divergence)

Word Count: 788

A/N: This was only meant to be no more than 300 words long, but of course I had to go the extra mile for one of my favorite ships. This prompt was one of the hardest for me to write for and I had scrapped so many ideas before settling with this one. I didn’t have much time to check for mistakes or edit, so hopefully this drabble still convey the theme.

Ever since he could remember, Klaus usually
found himself going into Ayanna’s hut in need of her healing magic. Especially
since his mother, Esther, have only the basic knowledge of herbal treatments
and sorcery; whereas Ayanna held years of experience under her belt. Bruises,
scrapes, cuts, broken bones, and even the occasional burns will get him sent to
be cared by her capable hands. Most of the wounds were only minor and could
easily be mended with a brief incantation or a thick smelly salve. But this
time; no salve, potion, or curative spell could easily heal the wounds
inflicted upon him.

His body lay bleeding and broken
upon a thin cot situated near the hearth at the center of the hut. His beige-colored
skin appeared pale and translucent within the barely lit room. Angry red welts slashed
vertically across the expanse of his back, the marks wrought by a corded whip.
The injuries was still fresh and weeping, the stench of blood heavy in the small
room, nearly overpowering the scent of herbs and burning pinewood. A motley pattern
of scratches and bruises blemished his face, blue and purple and yellowish in
hue. A gradually swelling eyebrow bulged over his left bloodshot eye. His left ankle
was twisted and swollen, while his right leg was bent in an unnatural angle. So
wounded was he, Elijah and Finn had to carry him out of the forest and past whispering
spectators. The villagers had congregated after news spread of a wandering hunter
catching sight of Klaus slouched figure tied to an oak tree.

He was left alone to suffer in those
woods. For hours, he clung to that oak tree in agony as punishment for his sin.
Klaus suffered at the callous hands of his father, Mikael, for the death of his
youngest brother. He did not mean for Henrik to meet his untimely demise. The
trip into the forest was only meant to be a fun and exciting excursion to see
the wolf pack that lived beyond the borders of the village. Klaus was aware of
the dangers, but he could not deny the instinctual pull he felt towards the
werewolves. As such, he was compelled to trek deep into the Howling Hills with his brother,

despite Mikael’s many threats and his mother’s constant
warnings against doing so. The Hunter’s Moon, full
and bright, helped guide them around the thickets of brambles as they carefully
step over slick stone. White wispy puffs of breathe escape from their mouths
with each exhale, as they drew nearer to the pack. Bays and howls, a primal
inhuman song, reverberated in the air and through Klaus’s bones. From behind a
wide twisted trunk of an ancient oak tree, safely hidden by low hanging branches,
the brothers watched silently.

Wolves of differing colors and sizes
converged together, chasing and tumbling in zealous spirit, and at the center of
the pack was a woman. Small in stature and very much human, Klaus stared with
rapt attention as she danced among them. Her brown skin glowed from the light
of the luminous moon and the ring of flaming torches embedded in the ground. Long
black hair, with colorful beads entwined in a few strands, swayed with each
swing of her curvaceous hips. She wore a tan dress embellished with blue
ribbons and floral embroidery. The skirt of the dress was clenched tight in her
hands and held high enough to brush across her smooth calves, as some of
younger wolves leaped up to playfully nip at the ends of the fabric. Her green
eyes twinkled as she laughed boisterously. His heart quickened at the sound and
his flesh felt flush under the collar of his tunic. She was a sight, lovely and
earthy….

Klaus remembered every sound, sight,
and scent of that night. He could also remember the incident that led to his
brother’s gruesome death, and that knowledge haunted him more than the image of
the dancing woman. However, with every crack of the whip and each harsh word Mikael
flung at him, the memory of her grew distant. Her youthful face, warm green
eyes, and untamed laughter drifted into the deep recess of his mind. By the twenty-fourth
strike, he was sure she was only a figment of his imagination. A wonderful dream
that he created as a means of relief from the torture he had to endure. The only
thing he was certain of was a name (or at least he hoped he was certain). A name that he was sure defined everything that she was and befitting of her spirit.
A name that fell from his dry blood-crusted lips in fervent whispers as Ayanna gently
rubbed poultice on his raw back.

Kat Graham as Abby Sutton on The Holiday Calendar Movie Trailer (2018, dir.

Bradley Walsh)

Bonnie desperately needed connections and relationships outside of the Mystic Falls gang. I like to think she has female cousins from her witch side who she has been getting to know better. Just something, you know? Kai would know she’s too good for that town

Very much so, it’s why my favorite Bonnie ships usually involve characters that are removed from the mystic falls gang. There was a lot to explore regarding her character and the MFG always held her back from it which is why I always open to new characters coming and sweeping her away.

You’re talking about Lucy which I agree with you, she should have talked to her more, but the only episode she’s in, beside her 10 seconds in the finale, she has a line that gets on my nerves every time, “the middle is exactly where you belong.” They introduce a character who can help Bonnie but instead she shoves her back into her place as their servant. She’s done letting vampires control her, why isn’t she encouraging Bonnie to do the same? I understood the potential of Lucy and why people held on to that, but she proved to be just as useless as her friends in one line for me.

But also here’s the thing about Bonnie’s isolation, I don’t actually mind it all that much, in fact, it’s a catalyst for a lot of development BUT never used because the writers never wanted her to have development but rather just be on call for whatever her white friends needed. Watching her struggle and figure out things on her own is an interesting story but we never see that, we just see her suffer–no character development to be had. I like her going out and pursuing things on her own, never been all that attached to “guide” characters because I prefer self discovery stories, and if she was written with consistency and the way she was supposed to she wouldn’t need outside help, at least as much as she does in the show.

Boo-kai 2k18 | Day 1: Samhain

little black death

AO3
FFN

There’s a clearing up ahead and she pushes past the brush towards it.

It’s nearing midnight and Grams always warned her about being out this late, on this night of all nights, without protection. Yet here she is under the bright glow of the full moon on Halloween, Samhain, alone and stumbling through the woods.

Tonight is the night when the veil between the living and dead is the thinnest, but that shouldn’t matter, should it? The Other Side is a painful memory, but a memory all the same. There was either oblivion or peace for the supernatural departed. Her powers now are the strongest they’ve ever been. She ain’t afraid of no ghost. And yet…

Kai really loves eating.

How would you plan out a Dark!Bonnie storyline? Would it have begun earlier or would it actually follow her “I’m done getting pushed around by you all” comment? (Still bitter over that) and would Bonkai be endgame?

Actually pretty much all of that. I answered this once in an ask but I would begin Bonkai earlier in the Prison World by extending their time there. Basically cat and mouse games that at first are tiring but eventually she delights in. She enjoys killing Kai and Kai just enjoys the intimacy of it because it’s the closest thing he’s ever had to intimacy. Some of these adventures would involve sex, very dangerous sex that often ends in one of their deaths, but the thrill is always worth it.

They would of course eventually get out, either by their own devices or a rescue mission on the MFG gone wrong where Bonnie and Kai get out but someone else gets left behind via betrayal of Bonnie and that’s when she would start loving for herself and stop getting pushed around.

In the real world they would go their separate ways until Bonnoe has issues adjusting and seeks Kai out. She finds him covered in blood next to a dead body. Instead of being disgusted she’d feel at home because she was having trouble adjusting to the people, but adjusting to the lack of violence. They if course ignore the body and fuck each other’s brains out.

I’d obviously want Bonkai endgame but I don’t know where to go from there, either killing spree, or they become the king and queen of the Gemini coven.
