Not even a mention of him. How sad, considering Tyler left with him at the end of S6. I guess they couldn’t come up with a good enough excuse as to why he couldn’t be there. Might as well forget all about him all together. It’s just lazy ass writing.
Yeah, Tyler came back for her funeral in s5, and she couldn’t go because of Enzo?? She grew up with Tyler and yet Enzo is more important? The writers, and JP, are idiots. They donn’t know who to navigate around their ships, and write their characters interacting outside their pairings. Everything comes back to a ship. Delena. Steroline. Bonenzo. Friendships be damned.
I’m so tired of all this. After all that Tyler has been through, just to die and not even get the grief that he deserved from people he risked his life for. I’m so sad.

I wasn’t really Bonenzo stanning though? As far as I am concerned, I wouldn’t even list them in my top three Bonnie ships. I was just pointing out that after years of shitty writing and torture, the character of Bonnie deserved some sort of happy ending, and while yes it is a good thing that she got the hell out of Mystic Falls, it was hardly a stellar way to send off a character that saved everyone’s ass over and over (think how quickly the show would have ended if they didn’t have the Bonnie Saves Everyone card to pull over and over). Yes, there were points in Bonenzo where Bonnie might have felt OOC to some but after 8 years of craptastic writing from Plec and co. all the characters drifted in and out.
Mainly I am just annoyed that finally gave Bonnie a romantic storyline (instead of making Enzo ANOTHER guy that crushed on Elena or Caroline) and then killed him off. I got to watch other characters being fawned over by multiple men while Bonnie got shafted in that department. Call me shallow but I like a good supernatural romance tale (especially if it is filled with bickering and/or UST).
God forbid Bonnie get a man. Does that ruin that virginal sexless witch thing that they held onto for far too long?
But that’s the thing, Enzo is another guy who crushed on Caroline first, and then when that was a bust he moves on to Lily, and when she died he went to Bonnie his last resort.
I completely agree that she deserved happiness and way better than to watch someone she loved die just to become the magic negro again, but she deserved way better than being someone’s last resort–again, having to do all the work in their relationship–AGAIN because Enzo doesn’t actually pursue her, it’s all Bonnie especially in their sexual moments it’s all her. She deserved better than Enzo, and to be more than a vehicle into making him relevant. And most of all she deserved a fleshed out romance which Enzo is not, Beremy had better build up and I hate them, in fact I would have rathered that than Enzo, they at least have mild chemistry where Bonnie and Enzo have none, it’s just Kat acting her ass off while Michael does nothing to even remotely be cooperative.
