Bonnie was a modern day slave. There I said it. She was always expected to help the white people, put herself above the white people and be put in pain or sacrificed for the white people. Like the only one that didn’t disappoint was Caroline in S4 when she killed those 12 witches to save Bonnie and even she turned out to be trash when Enzo died and she chose Stefan over her friend. Even though Stefan had Damon. She went chose Stefan and Bonnie had no one. Care called Abby and that was it.

Though I think anon is giving Caroline a little too much credit. LOL

Yeah, to skip over things that she did seasons 5-7 like not noticing she was dead along with every one, ignoring her being the anchor song with everyone, Barely doing anything to get Bonnie back and when she was back ignoring her (not just when she had no humanity), and to then skip right over to the wedding as to when she turned trash…waay too much credit.

Although that does remind me of this nonsensical DE post that painted Damon and Elena as Bonnie’s savior in season 5 simply because they were the first told about her death. I wish I could find it to laugh at again.
