1. Stelena honestly. It might be because I dont like Elena but honestly they’re boring (note I in no way shape or form ship Delena). More so they make each other boring like Stefan is never more at his straight laced than when he’s with Elena to the point that I was very indifferent about his character until I saw what he was like without her–he was complex with Elena he loses that complexity. And as for Elena there wasn’t really much to her character, she was never complex, but honestly whenever she was in any relationship her worst traits came out, even with Stefan like when Damon nearly rips Bonnie’s throat out, immediately after all she wants to talk about is Stefan, when Bonnie’s grams dies Stefan is still her main concern over Bonnie and it was that very concern that got Grams killed. If she showed any good trait it was usually without a boyfriend.

I wouldn’t say denial or even biased I’d just say more narrow-minded and not bad connotation just I’d say they don’t look past what’s written like when I used to casually watch shows and not spend much brain space thinking about the show after it was over. While there are exceptions, I just don’t think much brain power goes into shipping the popular ship, and by that I mean the loud ship in fandom that’s what popular equates.
