Daisy Johnson (also it’s nice seeing another Swanfire shipper)

Like I said in the other post, I have a hard time letting go of ships and Swanfire was definitely one I never got over and was never forced to because I didn’t watch the show that long after he died, for other reasons but he was definitely a part of it. They pretty much checked all boxes for me as fr as ships go. They were functional, but had enough angst to keep from dissolving into complete fluff (which bores me) and they had so much chemistry. I miss them. 

Anyway to the question at hand:

My NOTP: Ex-boyfriend from season 1 who’s name I can’t remember. I want to say it was Aaron, but I know that’s wrong. Edit: Miles

My OTP: Grant Ward
My second choice pairing: Robbie Reyes/Ghostrider
My fluffy pairing: Lincoln
My angsty pairing: Grant Ward
My favorite poly ship: Tripp and Mack
My weirdest pairing: Technically none, but I guess Raina because that’s the weirdest one I can think of right now.

When Hive pretended to be Space Rando, saying Rando was in there protecting her, Jemma didn’t believe him for a second. She shot him in the gut and went to go frickle frackle with Fitz. 

But when Fritz held a gun to Agnes, Jemma believed he wouldn’t hurt her. He actively professed that he knew who he was then he shot her, but Jemma went and stood in the crossfire screaming for him. Because HER FITZ HAD TO BE IN THERE.

(I know the circumstances are different but STILL)

Thank you, every time she does something like that I can’t help but think “you’re more pragmatic than this”. Her Fitz may be in there, but there are more important things at the moment and right now he has to wait especially since he was in a position that wouldn’t put any part if him (real or otherwise) in any immediate danger.

I loved Season 1 Simmons. I grew to intensely dislike-bordering-on-despise Season 2 Jemma. It took almost all of Season 3 to make me like her again. And I enjoyed her in 4A and 4B.

But 4C Jemma makes me want to do awful things to her. At bare minimum, I want to slap her across the face, hard. She needs to tone down the blatant, open, sneering contempt for someone who isn’t the same in this world and is actively risking his own life to save hers, repeatedly. If she can recognize that Framework!Fitz isn’t the same as Original Recipe Fitz, then she needs to get it through her thick skull that Framework!Ward isn’t the same as Original Ward.

If she doesn’t knock it off quickly, especially now that she’s seen Fitz do something awful, I’m going to be completely done with her. She has no excuses, she’s fully aware of the two worlds and the differences between them.

I am glad I’m not the only one because that is exactly how I’ve felt about her character throughout the series. Dear Lord the hypocrisy of her character is driving me insane and what makes it worse is that it’s not out of character for her because she’s always been pretty narrow minded, but Fitz usually balances that out which is why she was easy for me to like in season 3 and most of season 4, but now I just really want to slap her across the face.
