Boo-Kai | Day 3: Trick or Treat

Pandora’s Box

She’s a good girl, no one could dispute that. They could try, but they would lose every time because who would accuse the woman who saved the world of being bad. However there was something off, something that lied underneath that she kept locked away for no one to see. That is until Kai finds the key.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I came across on of your posts where you were talking about a potential fix where Bonnie and Kai have magic babies after season 6. Or maybe it was someone else

I’m just going to yes it was be because of an ask I just had about the potential power if Bonkai babies and a couple weeks ago I talked about a fic I had in the works that followed in that vein (althoughI kept magic plot hole babies because I liked the contrast between a forced pregnancy and one by choice).

But essentially, yes, Plec wanted Messiah children, and she had two very powerful characters who could produce those messiah children and instead chose Alaric, a human, and Jo, barely had magic, for these children and put them into Caroline, a vampire on a show filled with vampires.

The lengths she went to to make these characters relevant and even then it’s just an extraneous plot would baffle me if it didn’t know she was a) bad at her job, b) writes like a 4 year-old playing with dolls, and c) a racist piece of shit.

So I have a question: Since dancing is considered really intimate and symbolic in TVD what type of dancing would you give to BonKai?

Probably not quite the answer you’re looking for but I imagine their first dance happening in the prison world but forced on Bonnie to the song “Crazy” by Patsy Cline. It’ll be disturbing and very scary for Bonnie, but that’s kind of Bonkai.

If I was going to insert it into a scene it would be the one after Bonnie wakes up from being shot with a crossbow. She’s weak and in pain, and the song is playing and he wants to dance. He’ll lament about how he’s never felt the way Patsy Cline felt in the song until her, and he’s telling her about the girls he dated pre-inprisonment and how he couldn’t muster up a single feeling, and then soon after stabs him in the neck with a pen.

Their next dance I imagine would be like a combination of my two asks where she gets back to the real world and has trouble adjusting to the lack of violence to the point that she has a violent outburst of magic at a party that kills everyone but her. Kai walks in on the scene and is delighted at the carnage. He walks to the jukebox and turns on “Don’t let me be misunderstood” by Nina Simone and then approaches her. He holds out his hand for them to dance but she’s in no mood due to hysterics. He tells her “it’s just one dance” and she obliges. After that they move awkwardly slow while she cries on his chest.

So essentially I’d give them very dark and twisted dancing for a very dark and twisted ship.

“Dontrelle let me be misunderstood” by Nina Simone playing while Bonkai slow dance amongst the carnage they’ve so beautifully wrought

“I’m just a soul whose intentions are good.

Oh lord please don’t let me be misunderstood.”

I actually imagine more of a scenario where she caused the carnage and is having trouble accepting what she’s done and Kai holding her while she cries because he’s the only one who gets it. Maybe they’re slow dancing while he’s holding her, but there’s that “what have I done” feel in the air.

Just remembered. Bonnie and Kai’s offspring will be psychics too, courtesy of Bonnie. They’re gonna be powerful on an unfathomable scale.

Pretty much, at least that’s how I imagine their kids being. They would have stronger magic lines in their blood than any other characters. It still baffles me that Hope’s like the new messiah–she’s barely a witch–when the opportunity for some real messiah children are staring you in the face.

Bonnie jumping on Kai, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck and they’re heatedly making out right after killing somebody is such a powerful aesthetic. They’re high off of the kill and the black magic surging through both of them.

Very Bonnie and Clyde except instead of them dying in a hail of bullets they use magic and reverse the trajectory of the bullets killing everyone around them except themselves.

This is just reminding me I need to get back to my fic Outlaws.
