im gonna go with Kendrick for the sheer amount of times I’ve listened to King Kunta

New Kanye sucks, I miss old Kanye.

But yeah, Kendrick is better. 

There was always a paradox with the old Kanye in that he was an outspoken, arrogant asshole but damn did he make good music that made me conflicted on how to feel about him. Now his music mostly correlates with his personality so I don’t have to be conflicted anymore which makes me happy and sad all at the same time, but he’s not dead yet so he could still make good music again — there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m still holding out for CRS to get back together and make some beautiful music.

As for Kendrick he showed all of the promise Kanye had with better sustainability due to his attitude alone and has pretty much proved that to be correct. However I do have a slight fear what time and sustained fame will do to him because Kanye wasn’t always this crazy.

Which ones better? At their best I enjoyed them about an equal amount: they both have great lyricism, flow, and well produced beats, so idk it depends on what mood I’m in. At the moment Kendrick is better.
