Kat’s “Twitter Gate”

So this is about the third time in trying to post this thanks to a glitch in Tumblr’s side so this version is going to be a lot more abbreviated.

First thing I’ll say is that I don’t really care about celebrities beyond entertainment value and I especially don’t care about their Twitter beefs so this post is already out of character for me, but the amount of entitlement that could only come from the TVD fandom about Bonnie and Kat is too big for me to ignore.

So I’ll start with the original tweet:

As someone who frequents the Bonnie and Kat tag I feel this 100%. On tumblr there’s a lot of rp stuff which is mangable but then there are those post where she’s tagged simply because she was on the show and the post has absolutely nothing to do with Bonnie or Kat and that shit is annoying. I can only imagine how much more annoying it is on Twitter and in your own tag to be flooded with so much irrelevant spam just to get to something that’s relevant to you. I see no lie in this tweet.

Apparently, and I say apparently because it’s not, this was rude. I don’t see how it’s rude, it’s accurate, and even further, no one is specifically named, or called out, meaning this post is for the people who her statement applies to and those that it doesn’t just need to sit the fuck down.

Next comes the tweet that came from someone who needed to sit the fuck down:

Again, this is apparently rude, which I would classify as rude but honest and not even brutal honesty, just honest because she’s right. But of course no one saw it that way and called her rude and arrogant.

That’s the OP’s response which based off of that she kinda seems like a nut job so I wouldn’t exactly call it a loss in terms of fans. But then there’s the other response who seem to think Kat is owed her something other than the truth.
