This is how fucked up I just realized TVD is: Tyler for all intents and purposes is white, but the actor is a POC and yet even he couldn’t be treated equal to his white counterparts. He was often disregarded and sent off until he could be used as a plot device (much like Bonnie) and ended up with imo the most disrespectful death where no one cared. He was only treated a little better than other POC by at least not being treated as undesirable had character development it just didn’t mean much.
