Ward did’t know much about her other than she always wore black and she always seemed to be in the same place at the same time as he was. He tried to get to know her, he’d even talk to her, but she was always just out of his reach–disappeared everytime he got close, but that didn’t stop his determination. Call it fate, destiny, or meant to be–he didn’t care he just knew he was meant to know her and knew he wasn’t going to stop until he did.
Every night a 16 year-old Skye sneaks out of the orphanage with a fake ID she made herself to go to a bar. There she sees a handsome stranger who she very much wants to know. Every night she talks to him just a little bit before she has to leave to get back in time for no one to notice. She wants to tell him everything but she can’t for fear he’ll find out who she really is.

Like I said in the other post, I have a hard time letting go of ships and Swanfire was definitely one I never got over and was never forced to because I didn’t watch the show that long after he died, for other reasons but he was definitely a part of it. They pretty much checked all boxes for me as fr as ships go. They were functional, but had enough angst to keep from dissolving into complete fluff (which bores me) and they had so much chemistry. I miss them.
