Summary: When Alaric Saltzman meets Bonnie Bennett he
is intensely attracted to her but rejects his feelings when he discovers that
not only is she seventeen but that she’s his student. Though, they both try their
best not to become overly attached, Alaric soon finds that his relationship
with Bonnie becomes serious. However, his personal reservations, paranormal forces and outside influences
threaten to doom the affair.
