Bonnie felt a chill go up her spine as she surveyed the field. “These graves are fresh.” The dirt was barely settled in some of them.
Kai walked over and touched one of the crude headstones. “I wonder how many people got shipwrecked out here besides us?”
“Far too many.”
BonKai AU: It was supposed to be getaway, a fun visit to relatives in St Croix for the summer. Having lost her magic Bonnie took the opportunity to leave Mystic Falls before starting college. Here Bonnie meets Malachi Parker, her annoying yet attractive cabin mate. If he wasn’t keeping her up with his constant yammering, his horrible taste in music or his snoring, it was the staring. Their world gets turned upside down as the cruise ship crashes onto an abandoned island.
All is not it seems to be on the island, one by one the survivors are being picked off by someone or something. An unlikely alliance is formed between Bonnie and Kai as they have no choice but to work together to survive.
