Elena judged Tyler for being sired to Klaus because he “terrorized every one” of them and the next season, she become sired to Damon, she become blindly loyal to him, someone who terrorized every one of them, a self-proclaimed serial killer, a monster, a soulless, homicidal maniac, a psycopath with no redeem qualities. Tragic.
And JP has the gall to try and use Tyler as a way to legitimize Elena’s feelings for Damon in S4.
THIS IS AMAZING because it’s SO hypocritical.
And it didn’t even make sense. Tyler hated Klaus with a passion. They tried to force him feeling “a bond of gratitude” for breaking the werewolf curse, but WHY would he? Klaus didn’t give a single fuck about him. If JP was a good writer, she wouldn’t have used such a flimsy excuse to prop DE or at least say COMPLETELY different rules for Tyler being sired and Elena being sired (human feelings). Elena really needed a whole season after the sire bond to figure her shit out and not just jump in a relationship with Damon. JP is so gross.
