@staff – THIS IS WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY NOTIFICATIONS ARE BROKEN.  You can clearly see the “10″ in my inbox, yet only 6 of them show up in my notifications.  WHAT THE HELL.  Freaking A.  What is this?!?!  Can we please have the site functioning?!??!!?

@scorpio-karma – it’s been a long couple of weeks with it and I’ve been really frustrated by it all along.  I’ve personally made a couple of posts tagging @staff and reblogged others.  Tonight it just got to me and I needed to yell about it again.  Because this isn’t a feature that is brand new and they’re still ironing the kinks out.  This is something that was working and now is broken.  And I’m noticing it’s certain types of notifications that are almost always ignored as well.  I haven’t gotten a notification about a reply in a long time, or being tagged in something.  The only way I know those things have happened is because I get emails from tumblr when they do.  I’m not worked up over my notes numbers going down, but rather that I’m not being made aware of activity I want to know about.  And there’s no way to track it down otherwise.  ((sigh))

I didn’t even get the notification for this that I’m tagged in because it’s not in my activity at all, there seems to be no pattern to what I can and cannot see. It’s driving me up a wall. I don’t know what thing they tweaked but whatever it is it made everything worse.
