Cop points gun at his head with his finger shaking like a leaf on the trigger for 5 minutes after the situation was under control. Technically it was never out of control til the cop freaked out over a earpiece. This man should not be allowed to own a gun much less carry one everyday. Someone is going to die for nothing.

This guy needs to be fired and his right to own a weapon taken away.
You NEVER point your weapon at a target unless you intend to shoot. And you NEVER put your finger ON the trigger until you actually squeeze it.
This is just basic firearm safety.

The look in the officer’s face (the one pointin the gun) when is superior started pushin him to the side – I read faces, I’m an intuitive person – he is going through highly intense emotional processing and no officer should ever get that face when they are aimin a gun. The female officer didn’t even aim her gun, she had it out but didn’t aim it. Probably because she knows once you aim that fucking gun you are making at least 2 intensely emotional statements:
1- I AM AFRAID.
2- I AM DANGEROUS.
Why choose to make an already tense or at least uncomfortable situation that much worse? Honestly, cops, why? Was he gonna pull a gun out of his ear? NO he took his earpiece off. He was complying. The fuck was he pulled over for anyway?
I am so grateful the civilian is safe and unharmed (at least physically, unless there is more to the story and ain’t there always) and for the officer who helped to de-escalate instead of just being another anxious armed body hovering around.
Make this shit go VIRAL. I want to see IT EVERYWHERE.
