Kat posted a picture of some fan art and she commented “Stunning. Congrats on the new movie Kat! Loved it.”

I stick by my original explanation of she’s trying to get her to guest star on Legacies. That’s the type of thing you say to to someone you’ve barely had any interactions with right before you ask for a favor.

You compliment them in hopes that they write you back and then the door is open to now request things. It’s what you do when you want to ask someone something but don’t know them well enough to just outright say it.

Now I don’t know of that for sure what she’s doing but that sounds like it. Did Kat reply back to her?

It is definitely weird because if she knows the rest of the cast and talks about them and has what seems to be a good relationship with them then they most likely met at some tvd/to related function yet she’s never spoke about Kat or even liked a picture yet now all of a sudden it’s ‘well done’ ‘congratulations’. She’s clout chasing tbh.

That sounds about right, however can you tell me what exactly she was congratulating her on because that might give me a bit more perspective on it. In any case, I don’t think she was being sincere but that might help me figure out if it was meant to be taken as sincere or some shady shit.

Different anon but carina was always the worst imo simply because she flip flopped on what/who she liked on the show. She used to do tvd reviews and always had something negative to say about Bonnie yet claimed she loved bonenzo. Also when people spoke about how problematic tvd was her go to argument was that she didn’t write for the show yet never addressed said issues in her reviews so it’s just like….why.

I never watched TO past S1 so I don’t know much about her. The most I knew was that she was essentially the equivalent of Caroline Dries for TO (who I know worked on TO but briefly as I understand) and based on theis she sounds exactly like the crack pot kind of writer TO would hire. In fact she sounds like Julie’s other half.

I can’t really condemn anyone for flip flopping with which character they liked simply because each character flip flopped when they were likable, however she’s supposed to be a writer a d should be able to identify that this is a writing issue, and that there are several writing issue and she can’t even do the minimum of that.

What she is however is a fan girl of the series that takes everything written as law and doesn’t think much else about which is what her like Bonenzo after not liking Bonnie tells me. You know what kind of people do that people who follow the narrative to a T even when that narrative is problematic in so many ways. She doesn’t write for the show but that doesn’t mean she can’t analyze it, in fact if she was writing reviews that’s exactly what she should have been doing but seems to have failed. I’d hate to read what she truly thinks a real “analysis” of the show is.

Matching Donations for Those Affected by California Fires

saturnine-stardust:

Hi friends – I don’t have time at the moment for commissions (occasionally I do commissions in exchange for charity donations), so instead @alarkin12 and I are matching donations up to an aggregate $1,000 to the two below organizations to help those affected by the California fires in the Bay Area and in Los Angeles.

  • California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund:  For 15 years, the Foundation has offered aid to those affected by wildfires.  Grants have gone to rebuilding homes, providing financial and mental health assistance and helping those affected to get medical treatment.  Donate Here.
  • Entertainment Industry Foundation Fire Relief Fund:  This nonprofit has a fund that helps firefighters and other emergency workers battling California wildfires.  Its beneficiaries include the L.A. Fire Department Foundation, L.A. Kitchen, and the Humane Society of Ventura County.  Donate Here.

These non-profits, whose donations are tax-deductible in the U.S., have been vetted via Charity Navigator (see links above) and can be found in this New York Times article.  If you can spare even a few dollars, please do so.  The entire town of Paradise, CA (with a population of roughly 26,000) was decimated by Camp Fire overnight, and the death toll is rising.  Camp Fire has turned into the most destructive fire in the state’s history (burning over 110 square miles) and one of the most deadly.  The Woolsey and Hill Fires have burned nearly 20,000 acres and displaced thousands of people and animals from their homes.

I will be matching donations with receipts forwarded to saturnine.stardust@gmail.com.  Any receipts I receive before 11:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, November 13 will be matched up to an aggregate $1,000, split evenly between the two charities.  I will post a screenshot of our own receipts with the matching donations in a reblog of this post by end of day PT Friday, November 16.

Please help if you can.

I was referencing carina, one of the writers from TO who commented on one of Kat’s posts on insta congratulating her on her film. Idk I just found it funny considering she’s never mentioned Kat before yet she’s spoken about Nina and is good friends with Candice it just seemed fishy. Idk if they want her on legacies or whether they see that’s she’s doing well and want to attach themselves to someone hoping she’ll mention the show or idk it just stuck out because Kat’s never been in her radar.

I find that super weird as well especially since as far as I know she barely knows Kat. She primarily worked on TO and Legacies, had nothing to with TVD and Bonnie never had any crossowe episodes, so beyond a con here and there I don’t think they’ve had much contact.

Weird but I have no explanation for it other than trying to get her on Legacies or she’s trying to use her like the show did with the “I’m not racist I have a black friend” because she’s also faced a lot of backlash in that department as well as Plec for her work on TO.

Gone Girl AU: Silas/Qetsiyah

“What are you thinking? How are you feeling? What have we done to each other? What will we do?”

“We weren’t ourselves when we fell in love, and when we became ourselves – surprise! – we were poison. We complete each other in the nastiest, ugliest possible way.”

“I’m the cunt you married. The only time you liked yourself was when you were trying to be someone this cunt might like. I’m not a quitter, I’m that cunt. I killed for you; who else can say that? You think you’d be happy with a nice Midwestern girl? No way, baby! I’m it.”
