I liked Mike since the beginning but i don’t liked what he (and everyone) done with Hannah, but he proved be so brave and strong and still being funny. 99% of everyone here ship Josh and Sam bc of what they have from the beginning and i totally see it but is evident that Sam and Mike get a lot closer and i feel something protective in Mike when its about Sam and it became proved for me in the end when Sam explode the house and the police is coming: Mike helped Sam, checked if shes ok and still holding her hand, even when it isn’t necessary anymore. i think all this situation got them a lot more close than Mike and Jess and i would love see what happened with their relationship when they go home.

With me I didn’t start liking Mike until he sadly lost his fingers and I didn’t full on like Mike until I saw him with Sam. It was like all those great personality traits that were well hidden under a thick layer of asshole uncovered once he was with her. And Sam, well she was very inconsequential in my mind since she was the most neutral character and thus the most bland and just like with Mike her character opens up a new layer of herself that’s more likable and in her case less bland — they both become very protective of each other which results in them protecting everyone else (to the best of their ability). Plus I love their dynamic, it’s very opposites attract, but can rely on each other.
